Lyotrack - New humidity monitoring for freeze-drying application

A NEW HUMIDITY MONITORING TECHNIQUE that provides a better understanding of freeze-drying process.

In the freeze-drying industry one of the major concern is process monitoring and more precisely the determination of the end of primary drying.

Lyotrack, the new technology to improve freeze-drying process control specifically for pharmaceutical applications, has been awarded the prestigious PDA Frederick D. Simon Award.

This award is presented annually for the best paper published in the PDA Journal of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology.

The article "Freeze-drying process monitoring using a cold plasma ionization device" was issued in May/June 2007 edition, and was co-written by Cyrille Nomine (Adixen), Philippe Sibille (Adixen), Yves Mayeresse (GSK Biologicals), and Romain Veillon (GSK Biologicals).
